BİLGE ALKOR

She was born in 1936 in İstanbul. After graduating from Notre Dame De Sion in 1956, she entered the Painting Department of the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University). Between 1958-1961 she worked at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts. She returned to the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts in 1959. She continued her career at Munich Academy of Fine Arts between 1958-1961 and at Rome Academy of Fine Arts between 1969-1971. She lived in Rome between 1969-1981 and in Lüneburg between 1981-1989. She has been working in Istanbul since 1989. The works of the artist have been accepted to our museum by donation.
