DEVABİL KARA

He was born in Erzurum in 1962. Between 1982-1986, he studied at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department. In 1987, he was appointed as a research assistant to Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department. In the same year, he participated in Prof. Josef Tichy's 'Etching Techniques Seminar' and carried out applied studies. In 1993, he received Proficiency in Art from Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences. In 1996-1997, he made studies on the Art Market and the Operation of Art Institutions in the USA. He is still working as a lecturer at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department. The works of the artist have been accepted to our museum by donation.
