EREN EYÜBOĞLU
Eren Eyüboğlu was born in the city of Iasi, Romania, in 1907. After completing her secondary school education, she was trained in painting at the Iasi Academy of Fine Arts. She went to Paris in 1929 and worked at the Andre Lhote Studio. In 1980, she produced printmaking at Süleyman Saim Tekcan's studio in Söğütlüçeşme. Eren Eyüboğlu, whose given name is Ernestin Letoni, gained recognition with her identity as a Turkish painter. In addition to her paintings and patterns, she also produced ceramic murals for various official and private institutions. She died in Istanbul in 1988.
