ARTISTS / FERHAT ÖZATAR

Ferhat Özatar was born in Istanbul in 1972. He received his high school education between 1986-1989 in İstanbul textile profession high school, the department of woven. Between 1990-1997, he received his undergraduate education at the department of textile design of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Between 1998-2002, he completed his master's degree at the department of graphic design of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. In 1989, he worked as a designer at Erva Design, Sultanhamam. In the same year he worked as a designer at Erol Textile, Osmanbey. Between 1994 and 2004, he designed the serigraphy printmaking studio at Akbank Sabancı Cultural Center (Aksanat), and worked as the manager of here.

In 1999, he designed the serigraphy printmaking studio in Yeditepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts (Büyükada) and worked as a lecturer here. Between 2000-2012, he designed the serigraphy printmaking studio in Yeditepe University, Kayışdağı Campus, Faculty of Fine Arts and worked as a lecturer here. Between 2010-2012, he designed the serigraphy printmaking studio in Işık University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Arts and Design and worked as a lecturer here. Between 2014-2016, he worked as a lecturer at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphics Department, Serigraphy Studio. The works of the artist have been accepted to our museum by donation.
