Hanefi Yeter was born in Bayburt in 1947. In 1972, he graduated from the Atelier of Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu at the Painting Department of the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts. (Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University). In 1970, he went to Paris and studied at Academie des Beaux Arts. In 1972, he received a scholarship and studied at the Fine Arts College in Berlin. He graduated in 1976 and continued his work in Germany. He has had over 90 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. His works can be seen in national and international museums and private collections. Yeter has produced printmaking works at Camlica Art House since its foundation. He has also produced printmaking works at the Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts. In recent years, Yeter has made sculptures as well as paintings for the Forum exhibitions organized in Ankara, Mersin and Denizli. Currently, Yeter continues to work in Istanbul.
