İSMAİL İLHAN

He was born in 1961. In 1989, he graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting. He started his Master's Education in the same department in 1990. In 1991, he was appointed as a research assistant to Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts. In 1993, he submitted his master's thesis named "Plastic Analysis of Garbage Objects". He participated in the Mediterranean Countries Art Biennial in 1993. He made a review and a research trip to the Madrid Prado Museum, Barcelona Picasso Museum, Miro Museum and Toledo El Greco Museum. In 1995, he submitted his thesis proposal named "Plastic Analysis of Piri Reis maps".He started to work as a lecturer at Yeditepe University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1997. He completed the Proficiency in Art program in 1999. He was appointed as an assistant professor in 2000. He opened more than 20 solo exhibitions in Turkey and took part in many group exhibitions. He worked on printmaking at IMOGA in 2006. He passed away in 2008.
