RAMİZ AYDIN

Ramiz Aydın was born in Espiye, Giresun in 1937. He is a Turkish painter and lecturer. He graduated from Gazi Education Institute Painting Department in 1961. Between 1982 and 2004, he worked as an art educator and the head of the Painting Main Art Branch at the Istanbul Atatürk Education Institute and the Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty Fine Arts Education Department. He became associate professor in 1987 and professor in 1995. He opened more than 40 solo exhibitions. He retired in 2004. He is the brother of film director Remzi Jöntürk. The works of the artist have been accepted to our museum by donation. Ramiz Aydın passed away in 2023.
